Meraki Espressomaschine

Una maravilla, mejora mis mañanas un 100%, la estoy disfrutando muchísimo, cada detalle de esta maquina está muy bien pensado, no necesitas nada más, para mí es un ritual preparar mí espresso, espumar la leche es una maravilla, es una máquina muy cómoda y fácil de usar, sin duda mi mejor compra.

As a new father, I needed something that could make an espresso quickly without compromising on quality or versatility. From April to June, I kept researching which coffee machine to get, and I kept coming back to the Meraki as the best integrated machine for my needs.

I was a bit concerned at first, as the company is quite young, but working in a startup myself and seeing the overwhelmingly good reviews, I finally decided in June to get the Meraki Gen 2, and I couldn't be happier.

Basically, I no longer have espresso-based drinks outside my home. My wife enjoys her decaf cappuccinos a lot (the foam is super fluffy, and it's easy to get to a good level of foaming even as a complete beginner).

I organised an espresso tasting afternoon with my coffee-nerd friends, and both of them (who own a Sage Barista Touch Impress and a La Marzocco) were quite impressed. But most importantly, the Meraki performed very well across 6 different types of beans × 3 shots of espresso in about 2 hours — it kept its consistency. They were also impressed with the sound of the grinder: much quieter than what they have.

In terms of usability, it is very easy to use. I even make my espresso with one hand while holding my baby in the other, and my wife managed to pull a good shot after I showed her how.

So, I highly recommend it.

A suggestion for the Meraki team: please add usage stats, like a counter for espressos pulled and milk drinks made.

I have absolutely loved using this machine - the precision of weight and ability to control all the other variables combined with the FAST heat up time and smooth operation make this both FUN and incredibly convenient to use. I get to be as nerdy as I want but also get my coffee fast.

My wife and I have been talking about buying an espresso machine for a long time. After being disappointed at every second coffee place with the terrible coffee that is served, we decided to take the leap. We've had the machine now for a few months and have been making flat whites daily, inviting our friends and family over to share this with them as well. We love the quality of the machine and the coffee it produces and are always excited for the next time we brew! Thank you Meraki for creating such an excellent machine at this price point!

I put off buying this thing for months because espresso machines at this price point always feel like a big deal, but honestly this has been worth every euro. I got the black version and it looks incredible sitting on my counter, definitely not something you feel embarrassed about showing off to guests.

What sold me in the end was the dual boiler and rotary pump setup. You can actually brew and steam milk at the same time, which sounds like a small thing until you've stood there waiting for a single boiler machine to switch modes on a Sunday morning when everyone wants coffee at once. It heats up in about 3 minutes, so it's not something you have to plan twenty minutes ahead for.

The built in grinder was the part I was most skeptical about since I've always used a separate grinder, but the Timemore collaboration really shows. It has 45 grind settings now with Gen 2, which is a nice bump from the original, and dialing in a new bag of beans takes way less trial and error than I expected.

Grind by weight and brew by weight sound like gimmicks on paper but they genuinely change your consistency. My shots stopped varying day to day once I started relying on the dual scales instead of using standalone scales.

The PID temperature control across the brew boiler, steam boiler, and group head also means the shots taste the same whether it's the first one of the day or the fifth.

One extremely important update is the switch to a standard 58mm E61 compatible portafilter. On the first generation you were stuck using their proprietary fitting, but now I can use bottomless portafilters and aftermarket baskets I already had lying around. Small detail, but it opens up the whole aftermarket ecosystem instead of locking you into one brand.

The steam wand has plenty of power for microfoam and the tip has a temperature sensor built in, so I never scald milk anymore even when I'm distracted refilling water.

The touchscreen interface is intuitive too, no manual required to figure out the basics, and it saves recipes so my partner and I can each have our own dialed in settings for our usual drinks.

Is it a splurge? Sure. But between replacing a separate grinder, scale, and machine with one unit, and the fact that it makes genuinely great coffee every single time, I don't regret it at all. If you're on the fence and you actually care about your morning coffee, just get it.

The customer service is fantastic and the machine is phenomenal! Coming from someone who has moded a gaggia classic pro and owns a super automatic machine as well. I roast and have my own bean business and have a whole pour over line up as well!

I thought my last coffee machine could not get any better ! Then along came my Meraki! Looks beautiful! Easy to use. Total control of my coffee. And it tastes amazing. Yes I am a coffee snob. I admit it. And this machine meets every single coffee snob wants & needs. Thank you for making such an amazing machine. If the house was burning down my Meraki would be heading out the door with me. We’ve had our machine for about three weeks now. We have had the chance to make many lattes and we love it! We are beginners to the coffee world but Meraki and also using YouTube videos has made it very easy to learn how to make some solid espresso, lattes and many other drinks. As long as the Meraki can withhold for many years to come and continue making excellent professional espresso for us, 5/5 stars year after year!

After nearly a year of deep research on replacing my Jura S8 workhorse I made the choice to move forward with the Meraki Gen 2. Being accustomed to a single button morning espresso drink I wanted something that challenged my workflow and improved the result without an obsessive process. The Meraki fits the need perfectly, integrating multiple espresso accessories into a single unit. Important points are integrated scales dual rotary pumps PID control, software updates, excellent design and quality components. After two months of use my espresso shots using multiple coffee beans produced an excellent result. As for latte art, well that takes special skill and an effort for consistency, still more practice is needed.
For me this is the perfect machine and my experience with Meraki Technical Support has been excellent. I look forward to many more superb coffee drinks along with an improving barista skill set.

Were to begin, everything what they say is true. So, this is a fantastic machine! It comes with all the bells and whistles.

I purchased the Meraki to upgrade my old Brevill esspresso machine. So far I've been really impressed with my Meraki espresso machine. One of my favorite things about it is its versatility. It gives me the freedom to make so many customizations, allowing me to dial in the perfect shot of espresso and create drinks exactly the way I like them.

The build quality is excellent, and it's been a pleasure to use while learning and improving my home barista skills.

My only complaint is the metal-on-metal sound the portafilter makes when I lock it into the group head. It doesn't seem to affect performance, but it can be a little unpleasant and makes the machine feel less refined than it otherwise is.

Overall, this is an outstanding espresso machine that consistently produces excellent coffee. The versatility and ability to customize every aspect of the brewing process far outweigh my one minor complaint. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium home espresso machine.

If your looking for an upgraded machine the Meraki is a no brainer.

I upgraded to this from my Gaggia Classic that I’ve had for 10 years. I think between the grinder and the modifications I made to that espresso maker, it cost about the same as the Meraki. But the Meraki is in another league. The precision, the consistency, the simplicity all make it the best espresso machine I’ve ever had. And it’s quite nice looking.

Absolutely love my meraki! I upgraded from a Breville and will never look back the machine is easy to use and makes amazing coffee.

It is a great machine and very easy to use. I can make consistently good shots with it and the whole process is very straightforward. I would highly recommend this machine to everyone!

I have had my Meraki machine for 4 months now and I must say that I’m very impressed with the performance of the machine. Coming from a Breville Barista Pro user this is a much step up needed for me as it makes my workflow so much easier and faster. Consistency to pull the shots after shot is impressive as I struggle with that using my previous machine. The steam performance is excellent as I can consistently makes very velvety milk given the powerful steaming capability.
The Meraki has had a couple of
Software updates so far which keeps improving the machine performance and I like this given it is a mechanical but software driven device.
A highly recommended machine and I look forward what other device the Meraki team can come up with in the future.

I love the precision engineering of the Meraki! I no longer have to guess if I have the right amount of ground coffee, if my brewing time was too long or too short and whether the milk is properly steamed. Every shot is excellent and my latte art is getting better every day thanks to perfect microfoam.

I didn’t feel like I needed a new coffee machine until I came across the Meraki and slowly fell in love with what I was seeing. I came from a Breville barista pro and was overall fairly happy with that. Then I started to discover that I was getting channelling without realising it, was spending five times as long steaming my milk, and was always making a terrible first coffee but mediocre second and third (no heating of the machine). The Meraki took all the guess work out of it. I absolutely love the grind and brew by weight. The scheduled preheating of the machine is perfect for my morning routine - And the steam wand is out of this world powerful and consistent. I’m so in love with this machine I’ve already gotten rid of my old one which I was hanging onto out of skepticism for the Meraki. Definitely going to recommend this to friends and family.

Upgraded last month from a Breville machine I’ve had for a few years now, I thought the workflow and quality of coffee on the breville was good, now I’m making coffee that I’d pick over any local coffee shop! Quick heat up and the dual boiler allowing me to pour a shot and steam milk simultaneously is a game changer, and the built in scales make life so easy!

Finally pulled the trigger and purchased my Gen 2 a month ago, upgrading from a breville with seperate grinder and having 10+ steps to make my coffee every morning.
The Meraki has completely changed the way I now make my coffees, so much faster and more enjoyable and a steam wand that actually has enough power to make great microfoam!
Without a doubt the best upgrade I’ve made.
